we have had this bed for a month. it has been used every night by out houseguest. she reports that the bed is very uncomfortable, especially at the point where the larger and smaller bed sections join. also, we have had to continuously refill the bed - approximately every other day. the manufacturer's info sheet states that the mattress will lose a small amount of air for the 'first several uses', but i think that after 30 days it should be staying inflated.
to make matters worse, the phone number listed three different times on the warranty page is 'out of service and there is no new number.' this is charming, as the instructions from Amazon say to contact the company directly.
we were impressed by the 5 star ratings the previous reviewers gave to this bed, and thought the numerous possible configurations were a nifty added bonus. We are very disappointed in the performance of this product. Now we must not only go through the hassle of repackaging and returning the bed, but must begin again search for a suitable replacement. it remains to be seen what response we receive from the manufacturer.

I am a college senior living in a tiny studio in NYC, and the LoungAir is everything I could've hoped for.
It serves as:
1. a comfortable reading/lounging chair. After months of experimentation, I finally decided that my favorite conformation is to have it as a chair, but to deflate the smaller, middle portion and have only the larger, bottom part as the seat. It's a bit sturdier that way, has more seat area, and I like being close to the floor. I like curling up in it and reading, or setting my laptop table over my legs and working on my computer.
2. extra cushioned seating for guests when I inflate the whole thing and pull out the bottom
3. a comfortable twin-sized mattress when I have guests over
That being said, all the positions are very comfortable and I have fallen asleep on it in all sorts of positions multiple times.
Best of all, it deflates and folds up to fit into its small travel bag and takes up very little space. It seems very durable, so I imagine that when I get a real place, I'll be able to stick it in the closet to use for its air mattress function.
I do wish it came in more colors, but the dark blue is beautiful. Also, the texture is comfy. It gets lint on it a lot, but I just use one of those sticky rolling lint removers to clean it. Also, the pump is super easy and fast to use. I love the LoungAir, and I get compliments on it from everyone who visits.

Great product for those with back pain. Very comfortable and sturdy as well. Never had to reinflate once inflated. The item does as it describes. I've used it as a bed and a lounger and have no complaints yet. I am very impressed with how quickly it inflates and deflates. This product is worth every penny. I have this model as well as the outdoor loungair and they are awesome. The chair is very comfortable and I use it mostly for sleeping on in the lounge position since my health condition requires my head to be elevated. They are easy to inflate as well as deflate. Made with high quality materials. Each of these have been used more than 7 days straight and it is better than my own bed at home-truly like sleeping at the Hilton while camping or visiting relatives. You will not go wrong purchasing this item!

I ordered & received my LoungAir last week. I had searched high & low for a chair that I could also use as a bed in my camper van. When I came across the LoungAir I was excited that it had the 4 positions and thought the price was reasonable compared to some products I had come acrossed.
When I received the LoungAir I was absolutely delighted with the look, function & quality of it! I have to say I love it!!! I have back problems and it is generally hard for me to get comfortable when resting and often sitting as well. I bought the LoungAir to be able to have a combination of chair & bed options for my camper van and it is prefect for that. What I didn't expect is for it to be so comfortable! Wow - Thank you so much to the makers of this product! Another side benefit is it is high enough off the ground in the chair position for me to be able to use a little fold out table in my van. Sorry to go on & on but I am just thrilled with this product! It not only is perfect for my needs, but super comfortable, and very well made at an excellent price on top of it! Love it!
I highly recommend the LoungAir! I am so glad I found the LoungAir as I almost settled for something that could have never lived up to the LoungAir.
